Season Fee Set: $300 for Grades 5–6 — Tryouts Are Free

Signing up for tryouts costs nothing. For players who make a team, the board approved a $300 season fee for grades 5–6, covering five tournaments with the possibility of more if a team wants them. Families can earn $50 back for four hours of volunteer time, per child in the program.

We Are Looking for Coaches and Volunteers

A season does not happen without adults willing to show up. We need head and assistant coaches for our 5th and 6th grade boys and girls teams, plus scorekeepers, concession help, and hands for setup and teardown.

Coach applications are reviewed by a selection committee and approved by the board, and every coach is background checked. Start with the coach application. If you would rather help without running a practice, open slots are posted on the Volunteer page.

Starting Small, Building Strong

PYBA is taking a slow, intentional start. This season we are serving 5th and 6th grade boys and girls — starting where we can do it right, with real structure behind it: board roles, a real budget, coach screening, gym agreements, and a way for parents to actually get answers.

We hope to keep working alongside Pillager Community Education to grow the grades we serve, our coaching staff, and our resources season by season.

Starting small means every player, parent, and coach gets a program that is organized, transparent, and built to last. Thank you for growing it with us.

Local Business Sponsorships Are Open

Sponsorship helps us launch our first season and keep registration costs down for Pillager families. If your business would like to support Pillager basketball, we would like to hear from you.
